Collaborative: The Feminine Essence
Collaboration is often used in a positive context to describe two or more parties successfully working together toward a shared goal or project. Being a team player is essential in every role of life—as a wife, a mother, a friend, a teacher, a student, and a sister. Our ability to be of one mind and on one accord is essential when working toward a common goal and mission.

As a feminine woman, you learn to master the art of collaboration. A feminine woman can lead in certain assignments but is also comfortable when it is not her time to lead. She is secure enough within herself to understand that she will not always be at the forefront of a project or serve as the spokesperson for the mission. A feminine woman recognizes the strengths of every member involved and can humbly say, “She’s better at this than I am. I nominate her for the role.” It is all for the betterment and cultivation of the mission at hand.
When pride sets in, we begin to think we need to be on every stage, lead every project, and have our voices heard in the name of “seniority.” Feminine women do not operate in that manner.
Having a team-building mindset is driven by a passion for the work and an understanding of the “why.” Why is this important? Why are we doing this? What will we accomplish? These questions should remain at the forefront of our hearts and minds.
In this walk, our mission is to obtain the Kingdom, walk in our God-given places, fulfill the ultimate will of the Father, and lead the world in righteousness. Sometimes, the vision becomes blurry, and we begin to lose sight of the “why.” When that happens, we allow pride, ego, envy, and jealousy to set in. We lose sight of the significance of our sisters’ gifts because we have lost sight of our own. A feminine woman does not find purpose in operating under the influence of these spirits.

It is considered a blessing for a man to have a wife who agrees with him and walks alongside him in unity. This helps maintain peace. How can we maintain peace in our homes and marriages? By not always being in opposition to others, especially our husbands.
A feminine woman understands that her union is an operation. For it to function at its fullest capacity, both individuals must understand their roles and responsibilities. A feminine woman is equipped and prepared to take on more for the betterment of the union. She understands that the mission must continue.

Through nurturing, caring, and encouragement, a feminine woman can help rebuild what has been weakened. Femininity dwells safely and securely in contentment, and collaboration helps maintain that contentment. Contentment brings peace. Without it, we dwell in constant chaos.
For feminine women, contention should be foreign. Their intentions are to handle situations in the most dignified and graceful manner possible, even when things do not always end that way.
Some couples start projects together and run businesses together. Being able to do this is rare and admirable. Many couples cannot work together successfully. Being able to collaborate while respecting each other’s ideas and processes is something worth perfecting. Engaging in collaborative activities can reveal where you stand in this area. We must examine ourselves daily.

As wives, mothers, and sisters, we possess divine strength. There is power in simply being who we are called to be and fulfilling the purpose for which we were created. The way we coexist with others says a great deal about us.

If you find yourself constantly in opposition to your sisters, brothers, or husband, that is an issue worth examining. It is important to identify and address it before it is too late. Lacking the ability to be a team player and work well with others can be a character flaw. Do not worry, though, because it can also be corrected.
