The Story Behind Be True School of Virtue and Etiquette
A Vision for Virtue, Elegance, Life Skills, and Inclusion
I believe in a society where children are well-mannered, women embody grace and confidence, and spaces are welcoming to individuals of all abilities. This vision is the foundation of Be True School of Virtue and Etiquette, where I provide elevated etiquette training and practical life skills education for girls, women, and neurodivergent learners.
My passion for this work is rooted in both my professional experience and my personal journey as an autism mother.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, I worked in human services, supporting children and adults with disabilities. Through this experience, I gained valuable knowledge in understanding individual needs, navigating behavioral challenges, and developing strategies to promote independence and personal growth. What began as professional experience would later become an invaluable resource in my own family's journey.
When my son was diagnosed with autism at the age of four, I entered a journey filled with uncertainty, questions, and the determination to find solutions that would best support his development. After navigating extensive therapy services and the public education system, I realized that home education was the best fit for our family.
I remained steadfast in my faith and committed to exploring approaches that would meet my son's unique needs. Through years of dedication, intentional learning, and persistent advocacy, I continued working toward meaningful progress. By the age of ten, my son began holding conversations—a milestone that reinforced my belief in the importance of individualized support, patience, and never underestimating a child's potential.
My experiences as both a professional and a mother inspired me to create the NeuroNurture Momma Kit, a resource designed to support mothers, families, and caregivers of children experiencing communication and behavioral challenges. The kit helps families establish practical systems for teaching life skills, encouraging development, and creating greater consistency in a child's everyday environment.
My vision is for the NeuroNurture Momma Kit to serve as a valuable resource in homeschools, therapy clinics, and special education classrooms while ensuring that parents remain active, informed, and empowered participants in their children's development. I believe families should have meaningful tools and strategies they can use beyond the therapy room and classroom—because parents deserve to be equipped, included, and confident in their ability to support their children.
Both Be True School of Virtue and Etiquette and the NeuroNurture Momma Kit reflect the same foundational belief: life skills, character development, and compassionate understanding are essential to a thriving society.
My journey has shaped my commitment to cultivating individuals who are considerate, self-aware, confident, and compassionate. Whether I am teaching a young girl the principles of etiquette, helping a woman refine her social presence, or equipping a family with strategies to nurture a child's independence, my mission remains the same: to help individuals develop the skills, confidence, and character to navigate the world with dignity.
I envision a world where elegance extends beyond appearance, virtue is demonstrated through action, and inclusion is reflected in how we educate, support, and welcome one another.
